RenewElec Team - Ph.D. Students

RenewElec is a collaborative effort funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the RK Mellon Foundation, the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory, the Electric Power Research Institute, the Heinz Endowments,  and lead by Carnegie Mellon University's Engineering and Public Policy Department.  Bios for the project team can be found below.

Colin Hagan

Colin Hagan is a research associate at the Institute for Energy and the Environment at Vermont Law School (VLS). His work focuses on analyzing domestic climate change and energy law and policy. He has served as a law clerk for the Clean Air Task Force in Boston, MA, and a research assistant for the Environmental Tax Policy Institute at VLS. Colin also spent the summer of 2011 as a law clerk in the U.S. EPA Office of General Counsel’s Summer Honors Program. A 2011-2012 Switzer Environmental Fellow, Colin earned a B.A. in political science and English from Furman University and will receive his law degree from VLS in 2012.
