RenewElec Team - Ph.D. Students

RenewElec is a collaborative effort funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the RK Mellon Foundation, the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory, the Electric Power Research Institute, the Heinz Endowments,  and lead by Carnegie Mellon University's Engineering and Public Policy Department.  Bios for the project team can be found below.

Roger Lueken

Roger Lueken is a first year graduate student in the Department of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on strategies to assess and mitigate risk in the U.S. electricity sector. Prior to coming to CMU, he worked at LMI as an energy and environmental consultant. In that role, he worked with clients in the Federal government to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Previously, he received his Masters in Engineering and Public Policy from the University of Maryland.
