GadgetroniX – Nduta solar power system (Tanzania)

Who, What & Where

  • GadgetroniX
  • Design, supply, and installation of an off-grid solar power system with battery storage
  • Nduta Health Post 5 MTI, Tanzania

The Company

GadgetroniX is a leading distributor of globally recognised solar, water, security & surveillance, and communication equipment in Tanzania.

With over seventy full-time technicians supported by engineers and technical specialists, the company delivers reliable energy solutions across healthcare, commercial, and institutional projects.

Core areas include:

  • Solar energy systems
  • Off-grid and hybrid power solutions
  • Battery storage systems
  • Communication systems
  • Security & surveillance systems

GadgetroniX works with international partners to deliver clean and sustainable energy solutions across East Africa.

The Challenge

The Nduta solar power system was developed to support critical healthcare services in a remote location.

Reliable electricity was required for:

  • Diagnostic equipment
  • Refrigeration for vaccines and medicines
  • Lighting systems
  • Emergency medical services

Due to unstable or unavailable grid access, the facility required a fully off-grid solar energy system in Nduta to ensure continuous healthcare delivery and operational stability.

The Solution

GadgetroniX designed and installed a complete off-grid solar system at Nduta Health Post to ensure stable and continuous energy supply for essential medical operations.

The system integrates solar generation, lithium battery storage, and hybrid inverter technology for uninterrupted performance day and night.

System Components:

  • Solar Array: 15.4 kWp (28 × 550W JA Solar MBB Half-Cell Monocrystalline PV Modules)
  • Battery Storage: 60 kWh Lithium Battery (Freedom Won LiTE Business 60/48 – LiFePO4)
  • Inverter: 15 kW Hybrid Inverter (ATESS HPS1500TL – 3 Phase)
  • Monitoring: ATESS EnerLog remote monitoring platform
