Who, What & Where
- GadgetroniX
- Design, supply, and installation of an off-grid solar power system with containerised battery storage
- Nduta Health Post 4, Tanzania
The Company
GadgetroniX is a leading distributor of globally renowned solar, water, security & surveillance, and communication equipment in Tanzania. Working with a team of highly competent staff including over seventy expert technicians employed full-time, a group of electrical/mechanical engineers, and quantity surveyors, has enabled GadgetroniX to specialise in an array of areas including communication, energy systems, water systems, electric vehicles, mobile signal boosters, networking, and security & surveillance systems. GadgetroniX represents several well-recognised international companies in the pursuit of developing, testing, and promoting clean energy technologies and other services to empower individuals and businesses.
The Challenge
Remote health facilities like Nduta Health Post 4 depend on stable electricity for essential services such as diagnostics, refrigeration, lighting, and emergency care. However, unreliable grid supply in rural areas often disrupts operations and limits service delivery.
The facility required a dependable off-grid solar solution capable of ensuring uninterrupted power for critical healthcare functions.
The Solution
GadgetroniX designed and installed a Nduta Solar System 4 to deliver continuous and sustainable energy for the entire health facility. The system integrates solar generation, battery storage, and hybrid inverter technology for full off-grid reliability.
System Components:
- Solar Array: 5.5 kWp (10 × 550W JA Solar MBB Half-Cell Monocrystalline PV Modules)
- Battery Storage: 30 kWh Lithium Battery (Freedom Won LiTE Business 30/24 – LiFePO4)
- Inverter: 7.5kW Hybrid Inverter (ATESS HPS7500TL – 3 Phase)
- Monitoring: ATESS EnerLog for remote performance tracking
