GadgetroniX – Nduta main hospital solar system – UNHCR off-grid installation (Tanzania)
Who, What & Where
- GadgetroniX
- Design, supply, and installation of an off-grid solar power system with containerised battery storage
- Nduta Main Hospital, Tanzania
The Company
GadgetroniX is a leading distributor of globally renowned solar, water, security & surveillance, and communication equipment in Tanzania. Working with a team of highly competent staff including over seventy expert technicians employed full-time, a group of electrical and mechanical engineers, and quantity surveyors, has enabled GadgetroniX to specialise in communication systems, energy solutions, water systems, electric mobility, networking, and security technologies.
GadgetroniX represents several internationally recognised brands in developing, testing, and promoting clean energy and sustainable infrastructure solutions across East Africa.
The Challenge
Healthcare facilities require continuous electricity for diagnostics, refrigeration, lighting, and emergency care. In remote regions, unstable grid supply creates risks for patient care and operational continuity.
Nduta Main Hospital needed a reliable solar energy system for healthcare operations capable of running independently from the national grid.
The Solution
GadgetroniX designed and installed a Nduta Main Hospital Solar System to deliver stable, high-capacity, and sustainable energy for critical medical services. The system combines solar generation, battery storage, and hybrid inverter technology for uninterrupted power supply.
System components:
- Solar array: 77 kWp (140 × 550W JA Solar MBB Half-Cell Modules)
- Battery storage: 320 kWh Lithium Battery (Freedom Won LiTE Business 80/64 × 4 units)
- Inverter: 100 kW Hybrid Inverter (ATESS HPS100 – 3 Phase)
- Monitoring: ATESS EnerLog remote monitoring system
