The Challenge
Rangel Logistics required a more secure and efficient way to manage warehouse entry and employee movement. The existing manual process made it difficult to track access, increasing the risk of unauthorized entry and limited accountability within the facility.
A modern biometric solution was required to improve control, strengthen monitoring, and ensure that only approved personnel could access restricted areas.
The Solution
GadgetroniX deployed a ZKTeco fingerprint-based access control system designed to enhance warehouse security and improve operational control.
System components:
- ZKTeco ZKT F18-S biometric terminal
- Electric lock integration system
- Door sensor monitoring
- Exit button control unit
- Alarm and doorbell connectivity
The installed system enables secure fingerprint authentication, controlled entry, and accurate access logging for all users entering the facility.
Project Outcome
The solution delivered strong improvements in warehouse operations:
- Enhanced security and controlled entry points
- Reduced unauthorised access risks
- Improved staff movement tracking
- Real-time monitoring of entry logs
- Better accountability across operations
- Streamlined access management process
The facility now operates with a structured and reliable security system that supports daily logistics operations.
The upgraded system improved workflow efficiency by removing manual gate checks and reducing delays during entry and exit. Management now benefits from better visibility and control over warehouse movements, improving both security enforcement and operational planning.
