GadgetroniX – Nyarugusu solar system 5 – Off-grid power solution (Tanzania)

Who, What & Where

  • GadgetroniX
  • Design, supply, and installation of an off-grid solar power system with containerised battery storage
  • Nyarugusu Health Post 5, Tanzania

The Company

GadgetroniX is a leading distributor of globally renowned solar, water, security & surveillance, and communication equipment in Tanzania. Working with a team of highly competent staff including over seventy expert technicians employed full-time, a group of electrical/mechanical engineers, and quantity surveyors, has enabled GadgetroniX to specialise in an array of areas including communication, energy systems, water systems, electric vehicles, mobile signal boosters, networking, and security & surveillance systems. GadgetroniX represents several well-recognised international companies in the pursuit of developing, testing, and promoting clean energy technologies and other services to empower individuals and businesses.

The Challenge

Healthcare facilities operating in remote environments face constant challenges with power availability. Essential services such as diagnostics, refrigeration for medicines, lighting, and emergency response systems all depend on a stable electricity supply.

At Nyarugusu Health Post 5, limited grid access meant the facility required a dependable and self-sufficient solution to ensure uninterrupted operations. Without reliable energy, service delivery risks being compromised, especially during critical moments.

The Solution

GadgetroniX implemented a tailored off-grid solar solution designed to meet the facility’s daily energy demands while ensuring long-term sustainability and efficiency. The system integrates solar generation, battery storage, and hybrid inverter technology to maintain consistent performance.

System components:

  • Solar array: 5.5 kWp (10 × 550W JA Solar MBB Modules)
  • Battery storage: 30 kWh Lithium Battery (Freedom Won LiTE Business 30/24)
  • Inverter: 7.5kW Hybrid Inverter (ATESS HPS7500TL)
  • Monitoring: ATESS EnerLog
