GadgetroniX – Nyarugusu solar system 10 – UNHCR off-grid installation (Tanzania)
Who, What & Where
- GadgetroniX
- Design, supply, and installation of an off-grid solar power system with containerised battery storage
- Nyarugusu Health Post 10, Tanzania
The Company
GadgetroniX is a leading distributor of globally renowned solar, water, security & surveillance, and communication equipment in Tanzania. Working with a team of highly competent staff including over seventy expert technicians employed full-time, a group of electrical/mechanical engineers, and quantity surveyors, has enabled GadgetroniX to specialise in an array of areas including communication, energy systems, water systems, electric vehicles, mobile signal boosters, networking, and security & surveillance systems. GadgetroniX represents several well-recognised international companies in the pursuit of developing, testing, and promoting clean energy technologies and other services to empower individuals and businesses.
The Challenge
Healthcare facilities in remote regions require uninterrupted electricity to support essential services such as diagnostics, refrigeration, lighting, and emergency response. Inconsistent or unavailable grid power can disrupt operations and compromise the quality of care provided.
At Nyarugusu Health Post 10, ensuring a stable and independent energy source was critical to maintaining continuous healthcare delivery and supporting life-saving equipment.
The Solution
GadgetroniX implemented a dependable off-grid solar solution tailored to meet the facility’s operational needs. The system combines efficient solar generation, high-capacity lithium storage, and hybrid inverter technology to ensure round-the-clock power availability.
System components:
- Solar array: 15.4 kWp (28 × 550W JA Solar MBB Half-Cell Modules)
- Battery storage: 60 kWh Lithium Battery (Freedom Won LiTE Business 60/48 – LiFePO4)
- Inverter: 7.5 kW Hybrid Inverter (ATESS HPS7500TL – 3 Phase)
- Monitoring: ATESS EnerLog
