COP31
COP31 is the latest session of the supreme decision-making body of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Since 1995, these annual summits have served as the primary global platform for negotiating and advancing collective action against climate change. COP31 represents a critical milestone where countries are expected to strengthen their climate commitments and accelerate the transition toward a low-carbon future.
ARE will be present with a delegation of Members.
We’ll be there to:
- Present ARE’s new strategy. Our focus now extends from energy access to C&I and grids, backing the full electrification chain in emerging markets.
- Champion the #ElectrifyNow campaign. As a Steering Committee member, we’re championing a 35% electricity share of final energy demand by 2035, with a strong voice for emerging markets.
- Open doors for our Members. With 170+ members across 55 countries, we’re bringing them into the room so they can join the action, not just watch it.
